Toivo, the band from Trumansburg playing Finger Lakes Traditional music, has a new CD! It's called "Laughing Shoe" and it's stepping out with lots of Rich Koski's original accordion numbers, some Finnish tunes, some Tex-Mex tunes, and some other nearly forgotten dance numbers from all over
the place. The band consists of Richard Koski, button accordion; Jason Koski, mandolin; Jim Reidy, guitar; Stefan Senders, banjo; Harley Campbell, upright bass; and Annie Campbell, snare drum.

The Common Railers sound ranges from country, blues and bluegrass to singer-songwriter, pop and rock. Members often switch between multiple instruments, with Mike Costello on acoustic upright bass and slide dobro, Gordon Rowland on mandolin, banjo and accordion, and Chad Crumm sitting in on fiddle and banjo. Acoustic guitar is handled by Peter Glanville, who is lucky enough to play only one instrument. Their repertoire consists of original songs and covers from the likes of Townes Van Zandt, Hank Williams, Tom Waits and the Old 97's.
